Eugene Lawrence graduated from the New York School of Design as well as the acclaimed Pratt Institute. After graduation Gene apprenticed for two of New York's finest interior designers Jay Stuart and Michael Greer. The experience gained from these two great interior designers gave Gene the foundation that supports his current success.

Boston's Trade Winds served as Gene's new creative home when he relocated to New England. In 1992 Gene left Trade Winds and opened Eugene Lawrence and Company, Inc. in Boston's historic Back Bay.

Gene's projects have taken him from Boston to various US and International locations including New York, Los Angeles, Palm Beach, St. Bart, London, Mexico City and Saudi Arabia.

His design scope is extensive from cutting edge contemporary to 18th & 19th Century French, English and Continental furnishings with all the designs based on the clients taste, architecture of their residence, preferred color pallette and furniture style.
